District Agricultural Director
The Agriculture Department provides leadership for agricultural development and the sustainability of the agro-environment in the District. It promotes policies, strategies, and appropriate agricultural technologies to improve agribusiness, agro-processing, and crop, animal, and fish production.
The Department organises agricultural field schools, workshops, and seminars to assess farmer participation and the adoption of new farming technologies and practices.
