The Finance Department leads in the management and utilization of financial resources to ensure efficiency and value for money in all Assembly operations.
The Department advises management on the Financial Administration Act, Internal Audit Agency Act, Procurement Act, and other government-approved financial regulations. This ensures the proper maintenance and accuracy of all accounts.
It also directs and controls financial management activities in line with public sector accounting principles, ensuring transparency, accountability, and safeguarding of the Assembly’s assets.
