On the 16th October, 2025, the Sefwi Akontombra District Assembly conducted its Budget hearing at the Conference Hall of the District Assembly. The event was graced by the Regional Minister for Western North, Hon. Wilbert Petty Brentum, along with his team, as well as a delegation from the Ministry of Finance headed by Dr.Hamdu Abdul Hamid.
Additionally, the gathering included the District Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Appiah, District Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Lartey, Assembly Members, Traditional Leaders, representatives from the Local Council of Churches, the Muslim Community, Political Party Executives, and Heads of Departments.
