Stakeholder Engagement Meeting on National Sanitation Day – October 2025

On the 29th October, 2025, the District Assembly conducted a stakeholder engagement meeting regarding the National Sanitation Day. The purpose of the engagement was to discuss how residents can actively participate in the Sanitation Day exercise, which the Government has scheduled to occur nationwide on the first Saturday of each month.

Among the various topics addressed were sanitation challenges in specific areas of the District, methods to enhance cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.

The meeting was attended by the District Chief Executive, Hon Joseph Appiah, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Christian Lartey, the Presiding Member, Hon Patrick Ahontonyon, Nananom, Assembly Members, Departmental Heads, Staff of the Assembly. representatives from National Security Institutions, the Local Council of Churches, the Muslims Council, GPRTU, Okada Association, Pragya Association, Market Executives, and the media.
