On the 29th October, 2025, on behalf of Ministry of Health, Hon Joseph Appiah (District Chief Executive), presented 6 motorbikes to the Sefwi Akontombra District Health Directorate.
He urged the Directorate to ensure proper maintenance of the motorbikes and to be used for it intended purpose.
The beneficiary health facilities are Edewuakrom CHPS, Ackaakrom CHPS, Kofikrom CHPS, Kojokrom CHPS, Wansampo CHPS and Akontombra District Hospital.
The District Health Director, Mr Iddrisu Kunamsi who received the items was thankful to the Ministry of Health and by extension, the Government for the intervention as he indicated that this will greatly contribute in the health service delivery within the District. He subsequently pledged that the motorbikes would be used judiciously.
